After a week of celebrations, Manpreet and Vinay's wedding day brought a Sikh Anand Karaj and a Hindu ceremony together in a single day across the Greater Toronto Area. The morning began quiet and calm — soft light and the stillness that comes before one of the biggest days of your life — before the energy shifted entirely: Vinay arrived on horseback at Gursikh Sabha Canada in Scarborough, surrounded by family and friends cheering on the baraat, and the celebration carried straight into their Anand Karaj.
From Gursikh Sabha, the day moved to the Scarborough Convention Centre for their Hindu ceremony, held beneath an elegant clear mandap accented with lush florals — the transparent design giving every guest a perfect sightline to the couple. Even with a packed schedule, we carved out time for portraits and family photos at Milliken District Park before racing to Markham for the doli and closing the day with paani in Caledon — all in a single Friday.
