Moni and Bhupinder's engagement (Chunni) ceremony brought both families together at the Royal Ambassador Wedding & Event Venue in Caledon — one of the Greater Toronto Area's most elegant South Asian wedding venues. The Chunni is the moment the groom's family welcomes the bride into their own, draping her in a chunni and dressing her in gifts, and the room carried that warmth all evening.
As a South Asian wedding photographer serving Brampton, Caledon and the wider GTA, this is my favourite kind of celebration to document — the blessings and heartfelt family moments giving way to laughter, music and a dancefloor that filled the moment the beat dropped.
